25typical features of this forest are constituted with: Sacogottis gabonensis (bidou), Lophira alata (bongossi or azobe), Cynometra Kankei (Nkokom), Coula edoulis.Atlantic forestIt occupies the next reliefs coming after the coastal forest up to almost 800m altitude and itA quite unique landscape, simply breathtakingis equally found as far as 1000 to 1200m in the West. The Atlantic forest penetrates 100 to 150km depth, and toward South, it may reach 200/250km (Nyong et Kelle Division). Abundant caesalpiniaceous characterize this forest; more than 2/3 caesalpiniaceous of Cameroon humid thick forest are found in this specific forest.Dja forestSituated in the south-east of Cameroon, this forest is in appearance like its neighbouring Congolese one. The hydrographical denseness in this area is mainly due to many important rivers in the region such as: the Dja, Boumba and Ngoko.The Dja forest can be compared to an Atlantic forest without caesalpiniaceous having a few elements of semi-deciduous forest. Among arbo- rescent species found in this forest, it's equally suitable noting the Baillonella toxisperma (adjap), a gigantic tree 4 to 5m diameter at it base. Lianas and rattans are equally found in abundance in this forest.SAVANNAHSSavannah is a typical vegetation of tropical cli- mate with contrasting seasons: rainy and dry sea- sons (1 400mm precipitations a year and at least 3-month dry season).
