   • The creation of 6 ha and the maintenance of 18.5 ha of seed fields;
• The creation of 276 ha of plantain production fields.
Actions to increase fruit and vegetable produc- tion include: the distribution of 50 kg of “white” seeds and 9.2 tons of certified mushroom seeds;
the creation of 11 ha field of mango and citrus. With regard to vegetable crops, 482 ha of fields were created.
Peanuts and beans production rose by 2.3% and 5.2% respectively. To improve production, 5 tons of basic seed and 179.3 tons of certi- fied seed were distributed and 160 ha of seed fields created.
