The Consumer Commodity Supply Control Authority (MIRAP), the Hydrocarbons Price Stabilization Fund (CSPH) and the National Office of Cocoa and Coffee (ONCC).
As part of the fulfillment of its missions, the Ministry of Trade had to stretch out on many fronts, during the 2018 financial year:
1/Organization and/ or support for promotio- nal events, which consisted in particular in:
• The strengthening of regional integration through the organization, in Kyé-Ossi, in the Ntem-Valley Division, from June 25 to July 7, 2018, of the 9th edition of the Cross-Border Fair of CEMAC (FOTRAC). The meeting, which is gaining momentum over the years, offers a space for exchanges that promotes socio-economic inte- gration and the development of the Central African Sub-region since 2010;
• Having the ever first edition of the International Fair of Business and Trade (FIAC), from 24 March to 08 April 2018 at the CAMTEL Complex in Douala and placed under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic. FIAC is a promotio- nal event focused on showcasing the know-how of companies and their creativity with the ultimate ambition of promoting the “Made in Cameroon” and “Consume Cameroonian”.
Even more, on the list of the accomplishments of the Ministry of Trade, we have the support for the organization of the following events:
• The 9th edition of the Douala International Fair for Development (FIDD), March 30 to April 14, 2018. This was mostly on the occasion, the

search for partnerships and showcasing the know- how of companies through exhibitions and sales;
• The 25th edition of the Musical, Artistic, Industrial and Commercial Fair (FOMARIC), February 5 to March 11, 2018;
• The 6th edition of the Promotional Days of Coffee (FESTICOFFEE 2018), April 4, 2018 at the Conference Centre in Yaoundé, back to back with the Professional Coffee Meetings, which cen- tred on a Coffee Tasting Day of the Cameroonian Coffee, and live and digital animations.
2/Structuring the organization of distribution channels. Some of the following activities were carried out in this context and still for the 2018 financial year:
• The construction of eleven (11) periodic mar- kets and a storage warehouse, for which funds have been transferred to the councils of the bene- ficiary localities;
• The modernization of the commercial space and the rationalization of distribution channels through the support of national and foreign economic ope- rators, to invest in the construction and develop- ment of commercial spaces of mass-market retai- ling, which sanction the resolute anchoring of the national commercial landscape to modernity.
3/Available essentials
An operation of the Ministry of Trade particularly appreciated by the population is the provision to consumers of essential goods at lower cost. Thus, the following operations were carried out:
• The regular organization of consultations with economic operators and civil society actors, which generally resulted in agreements on concerted prices;
